We hope that anyone who is struggling with a mental health crisis understands that we know how hard these battles can be and asking for help is not easy - but asking for help is courageous and there are so many other people out there that do understand. 


   


The Post Intensive Care Syndrome (Survivors) Coalition is a new non-profit formed to advocate, educate and provide support for the PICS and PICSF (family) Survivors.  Check out their website to learn more, find ways to help advocate and educate and most importantly for our survivors - connect with the PICS community!

Ken and Melissa started participating with CIRC in 2022 after my second and longest battle of their journey.  This was how they were introduced to what Post Intensive Care Syndrome was and how they became involved in the PICS community.  To get more information on CIRC check out their site:      Critical Illness Recovery Center at UPMC Mercy | Pittsburgh PA 


The good folks at Vanderbilt have been a leader in Post Intensive Care Syndrome research, care and advocacy.  Ken has completed the PICS 101 course that the wonderful people at CIBS offer.  Check out the CIBS site for great information and resources on PICS.   The CIBS Center Overview
